Core Recruit is a dynamic recruitment agency specialising in connecting top-tier talent with leading employers across various sectors. With a focus on personalised service and long-term partnerships, the agency prides itself on delivering efficient, tailored recruitment solutions to clients and candidates alike.
Core Recruit had no centralised platform for storing or sharing documents, which led to inefficiencies in collaboration and data management. Files were often stored locally or shared via email, increasing the risk of version control issues and data loss. As the team grew, the lack of a structured document management system became more apparent, particularly when onboarding new staff or collaborating across departments. The absence of a secure, accessible, and scalable solution was limiting productivity and posed a risk to data security. The organisation needed a centralised platform that could support secure file sharing, structured access control, and seamless integration with their existing Microsoft 365 environment.
To address these challenges, we deployed a new SharePoint site tailored to Core Recruit’s requirements. We began by reviewing a document provided by Asma, which outlined the desired structure and security groups for the site. Using this as a foundation, we configured the SharePoint environment to reflect the organisation’s operational needs, including department-specific libraries and permission settings.
We then worked directly with the team’s ten users, remotely accessing their devices to demonstrate how to sync SharePoint libraries locally. Where needed, we completed the sync setup on their behalf to ensure immediate usability. This hands-on approach ensured that all users were confident in accessing and managing shared files from their devices.
The SharePoint site was integrated with Microsoft 365, allowing for seamless collaboration using familiar tools such as Word, Excel, and Teams. We also provided guidance on best practices for document management and version control, helping the team adopt the platform effectively. The solution was designed to be scalable, supporting future growth and additional users as needed.
Core Recruit now benefits from a centralised, secure, and user-friendly document management system. The SharePoint site has streamlined internal collaboration, reduced reliance on email for file sharing, and improved data security through structured access controls. Staff can now access the latest versions of documents from any device, whether in the office or working remotely.
The onboarding process for new team members has also improved, with clear folder structures and permissions already in place. The integration with Microsoft 365 has enhanced productivity, allowing users to collaborate in real time using familiar applications. Overall, the deployment has significantly improved operational efficiency and laid the groundwork for future digital transformation initiatives.
