ALIAS EMAIL ADDRESS An alias email address allows multiple email addresses to direct messages into a single mailbox. For example, if your main email is [email protected], you can set up aliases like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]. Emails sent to any of these addresses will arrive in your main inbox. This is especially useful if people often misspell your name or use different formats. There is only one mailbox and one login, so no additional accounts are created. Alias addresses do not have separate mailboxes, cannot be logged into, and do not provide access to anything. This feature is free because it does not require creating extra mailboxes. SHARED MAILBOX A shared mailbox allows multiple people to view and respond to emails sent to a single email address, without needing a separate login. For example, if your main email is [email protected], you could have a shared mailbox like [email protected]. Emails sent to [email protected] will appear as a separate folder within your main mailbox, such as Inbox – [email protected]. You access it by logging into your usual email account and navigating to the shared mailbox folder. There is no separate login or password, and the mailbox cannot send emails directly.
